We have tried to provide to some frequently asked questions below. If you have any other questions, please give us a call.
What is your worship like?
We worship God through preaching, teaching, reading the Bible, music, and prayer. Our music is a blend of both hymns and newer songs.
Where do I park?
We have several parking lots available for use. Our main lot is behind our church, located between Court and Nichols Streets just before Seventh Street. We also have spaces available in the public library lot on the other side of Court Street from the church building and on the streets around our church.
What do I wear?
Be as comfortable as you would like. Some people prefer to dress up a little more on Sunday mornings, which is fine. Some people also feel more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, which is also fine. Be assured, no matter what you wear, there will be some people dressed similarly.
Where do I go?
Once you enter our doors, you will find some signs that will help you get around the building. We also have a welcome desk in our foyer that has lots of information for guests. If you can’t seem to get to where you need to be, feel free to ask anyone around! Our staff and greeters are always happy to show you where you are headed.
What about my kids?
Here at FBC Fulton, our top priorities for children are learning about Jesus, keeping them safe and secure, and making them feel cared for and loved. The Children's Ministries staff is made up of volunteers who rotate throughout the month. Each one is dedicated to teaching and discipling the children in their care, letting them know by their words and their actions that Jesus loves them. We have age graded Bible studies at 9:45 on Sunday mornings for children ages 0-18, and we provide nursery facilities for babies through children four years old during our morning worship services. Our children five years and older are in the worship service with us, though you can definitely bring your younger children as well. On Wednesday nights at 6 pm we provide Summit Kids/AWANA for kids from 2 years old to 6th grade, which is a time of Bible learning and games in a fun, friendly environment.
Will I get singled out or asked to give anything?
We will not single out our visitors. It can sometimes be an uncomfortable experience when you visit a church for the first time, and we want to make you feel welcome. While we won’t single you out, ask you to stand, or do anything special, we will try to make you feel at home! If this is your first time with us we want you to keep your wallet in your pocket. Just come and experience a service at FBC Fulton. If you like it and want to call it home, then we believe giving to God and His church is part of being a Christ-follower.
Do I bring a Bible?
We read the Bible in our morning worship. It is important that you own a Bible to make notes and read daily. However, we know you might forget. We have Bibles in every pew just in case. Also, if you don’t own a Bible, please let one of our staff know. We have Bibles for all age groups that we will happily give you.
Do you have evening services?
On Wednesday at 6:00pm we have services for adults, youth, and kids. Our mid-week gathering is to equip us as a body and to increase our understanding and faith. It includes discussion, bible study, and prayer. We are constantly exploring new topics to keep attendees growing and engaged, and to give new people the chance to "try on" this mid-week experience.
