Guidelines For Use Of Church Facilities
Use of Building/Rooms:
When scheduling an activity at the Church please contact the Church Office as soon as possible in order to fill out a “Facilities Usage Request” form. Once approved, it will be placed on the Church Calendar.
If a scheduled activity is cancelled please notify the Office as soon as possible.
If you need a key please contact the Church Office and one will be given to you.
Please contact the Church Office for instructions on how to arm and unarm the security system.
Alcohol Policy: No alcohol may be served in church facilities. Smoking Policy: smoking in any indoor church facilities is prohibited.
Groups are restricted to only those areas of the facility that the group has reserved.
Church equipment, such as tables and chairs, must be returned to original placement, unless arranged otherwise prior to the event.
All lights must be turned off and doors locked upon departure.
Abusive or foul language, violent behavior, and drug or alcohol abuse are strictly prohibited while using church facilities. Any person exhibiting such behavior will be required to leave the premise.
Use of Kitchen:
Each group using the kitchen facilities is to be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and returning all equipment to its proper place.
The coffee pot must be emptied and thoroughly washed after each use.
All food and drink left over should be disposed of. Please do not leave any of it in the refrigerator unless special arrangements have been made for its use later. Please label all food items with date and name.
No food or drink may be served in the sanctuary.
You should appoint a group leader to see that all policies are followed and all responsibilities carried out. Please use checklist.
Please launder all kitchen linens that are used.
All sinks need to be thoroughly cleaned & no food particles left in the sink drain stopper.
Floors need to be swept, and if necessary mopped due to spills.
Microwaves may be moved off counters to a cart if additional space is needed for food preparation.
If kitchen is found messy please report it to the office.
Clean any spills in the refrigerator.
No trays on the right side of the refrigerator because it will restrict airflow from the cooling vent.
Take garbage to the dumpster and put a new plastic bag in the garbage can.(Bags are located in the cart next to the stove).
Use of Sound system/Lighting/Stage:
If you be require the use of the A/V Equipment in the Sanctuary:
In order for us to best serve your needs and in order to ensure- to the best of our ability- that we help your event run smoothly, the following guidelines for the FBC Fulton sound services are set forth.
The use of a sound technician is required when using our sound system in the sanctuary. The fee for the sound technician is $50.00 per event night. This flat fee will cover set-up, rehearsal, and actual event time.
i. This fee will be paid directly to the sound technician.
ii. If the total time the sound technician is required to be available for the event exceeds three hours, including setup, rehearsal, actual event time, and tear down, then an additional charge of $25 per hour will be added.
Only an authorized audio technician is permitted to use the sound system. If you would like to provide your own sound technician, they will need to be authorized by our Associate Pastor of Music and Education.
No one is to use the equipment in the sound booth, unless trained by a member of the FBC Fulton media team.
Lighting
Someone, who is in charge of the event, will need to be available to learn how to use the lighting system.
Projection System
If you require the use of our projection system (we use an iMac to display video, pictures, and words on the projection screen) then we will need you to format files in these formats:
Videos: .mp4, .m4v, .mpg, .mov
Audio: .mp3, .m4a, .aiff,
Picture: .jpeg (the best format) also .png
Stage
If you are needing the stage cleared you will need to let the church office know 1 week before the event is to take place.
Once the event is over, the stage must be cleared of all equipment used for the event, except for FBC Fulton equipment that has been left on the stage, i.e. piano, keyboard, organ, drums, mics, backdrop and all aspects of stage design.
If you have any questions please contact our Associate Pastor of Music and Education through the church office.
